Responds to Indonesia Earthquake
The American Red Cross has launched a major
relief effort to help survivors of a
magnitude 6.3 earthquake Indonesia that
shattered the early morning calm of May 27.
The earthquake caused major damage in the
areas of Yogyakarta and Central Java, where
approximately 5,000 lives were lost and as
many as 200,000 people were left homeless.
